Summary :
Gender bias is omnipotent and gender stereotyping is the usual practice in the labour market in India. Gender Marginalisation is the unwritten mode of employing women workforce and even the most elaborate and systematic social security laws and schemes or the labour law mandates sadly lack efficacy in the absence of implementation or enforcement mechanism. The present book examines all aspects of the working of the women workers by focusing on five major categories of women workers in the Vidarbha region in particular by minutely exploring the national and international social security laws and systems.
