| Summary, etc. | The book explores socio-legal and human rights dimensions of Juvenile Justice System (JJS) in India. Addressing the issue from a wide range of perspectives-sociological, demographic, legislative, judicial, and interventionist-the book attempts a macro level examination of these issues in a multidimensional perspective. The study identifies the nature, scope, and structure of JJS, and analyses and identifies the stumbling blocks in the development of JJS in India.
