Overview:
Advocate Kaleeswaram Raj’s collection of essays titled ‘Rethinking Judicial Reforms’ is an interesting book reflecting critically the legal and judicial professions on their performance during the seven decades of the Republic. Publishing selected articles in the form of a book would enable readers everywhere to understand the role of law and legal institutions in the society we live in and to mould our conduct as responsible citizens for effective functioning of the world’s largest democracy. Two articles on privacy written in 2017 and a few other articles, in view of the subsequent developments have been incorporated in the present work. This refreshed edition, politely attempts to create a medium for thought and conversation on the topics mentioned in the book. The book will be of great help to students, academicians, researchers, law practitioners and the public at large.
