Summary:
The trial and execution of Bhagat Singh and his colleagues created a sense of agony and anger among the countrymen and they expressed their love for Shaheed Bhagat Singh and their hatred for the British rule in various forms of literature. A number of pamphlets, booklets, calenders, books, articles in magazines and newspapers were published in English as well as in almost all the Indian languages. As the British could not stomach the outpourings of people's anger they duly suppressed majority of it and there is no record of such writings except in the files of British Government. This volume draws from those files and takes the readers through those writings and times.
