Abstract:
This chapter looks at the use of problem-based learning (PBL) at York Law School, and explores some of the key benefits and challenges of teaching law through PBL. The chapter uses the Medical Law optional module as a case study to explain the operation of PBL and to illustrate those benefits and challenges and ways to overcome them.
